Exercising Your Hobby

I have a love for photography and a desire to stay active. I have found that taking photo walks, whether in the city or in the midst of nature, with my camera takes my mind off the fact that I am actually exercising. Walking in a news scenery each time often gives me the opportunity to exercise, meditate and photograph many beautiful photos also.

Photo walks can also be very motivating when done with a group who all have the same goal and hobby. Here are 4 things that can keep your walk interesting:

  1. Find an interesting location: Location is what makes the walk interesting. If the location is dull then the walk will definitely be dull. This is also very important when planning to walk in a group.
  2. Pick a theme: Theme walks provide a focus  Narrowing the theme of architecture to something like vertical lines, arches, or even something as simple as windows can help spark that creativity needed to make photo walks productive.
  3. Blog your experience: Blogging about experience can be an exciting way to share the photos captured on the walk.
  4. Have fun!
