We are a group of students at the University of Texas in Dallas who share a passion for an active lifestyle. In this blog we will share our experiences participating in different activities as well as recipes and tips on making healthy choices.

Jim Merchant

 I’m at Emerging Media and Communication major. I enjoy finding new and fun ways of staying active and then writing about them. I like traveling and meeting new people from all over the world. These posts are a little piece of me and I hope that you like them!

Janice Marie
Janice has an educational background in physical education. She enjoys researching and writing about living a healthy lifestyle. Her past work experience in the health and fitness industry has influenced her current active lifestyle. In her free time she enjoys hiking, yoga, snowboarding, traveling and just about any outdoor activity surrounded by nature.

Dafne Daf
Dafne Ayala is a student in the University of Texas at Dallas. She is currently studying a double major in psychology and business administration; she is a full time student and also works a fulltime job. During her free time she enjoys culinary arts, drawing, photography, writing, and all other artistic activities.

Destinee Lewis
Desinee is a Dallas native studying full-time at the University of Texas at Dallas. She is currently pursuing a degree in Emerging Media and Communications. When she finds time between her full-time job and school work, she enjoys photography, cooking, sewing, and community service.
